What Muslim's Fasting Ramadan "means"
According to one of Islamic scholars, Imam Muritadha Gusau says, the fourth pillars of Islam is fasting and it is to fast throughout the month of the Islamic calendar.
He said Ramadan fasting, it's an act of worship that draws the Muslim closer to Allah, as Quran stated:
Fasting has been described upon you as it was prescribed upon those who came before you so that you may attain piety (Quran, 2:183)
fasting and spiritually means that every Muslim should:-
* Focus on getting closer to Allah
* Study and recite the Quran severally
* Improve obedience of Allah
* Give in charity
* Observe night prayer
* Show kindness and generously
* Repent and seek forgiveness for sins
